Wishing all my followers a massive HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Every turn of a new dawn we make promises, make resolutions and set goals, but how man of them do we actually carry out come December? This is yet another opportunity to do this but take it all the way. Lets not build reputations with our mouths, but rather our actions. It’s now another opportunity to speak to that person who’s been on your mind, climb that wall you’ve been staring at for so long, apply for that job you’ve been dreaming about and take that we’ll deserved holiday.

Lets Go!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Losing You…

LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!

She Bad Bad…

Hey Lovlies

Hope all is well…

Well well well, as usual my week has been hectic, galavanting left right and center doing stuff, finally found a minute to put pen to paper! I was reading a daily devotional by JOYCE MEYER the other day and it really hit the spot for me.  I recently had a bust up with someone I had known since I was 11 (I’m now 26). We weren’t the best of FRIENDS, but we always had a good time when we met up and we spoke deep about certain situations, so I thought we were on a MUTUAL level. Well, I wont go into details in what the bust up was about, but the situation ended with us basically not speaking or hanging out as much. I was kinda surprised at her reaction after the situation because I was still open to carry on as usual but she took a step back… Anyway, I learnt a great deal from the situation and the one thing that stood out to me was how important being HONEST and TRUTHFUL is.

In Joyce Meyer’s DEVOTIONAL piece she talked about being honest and open with the people around you, she said that the reason people respected her so much as because she didn’t build fake impression about the kind of person she was, if she was going through a tough time people knew, if she had done something wrong, SINNED, people knew, through her joys and mishaps she was not afraid to let people know, and I really RESPECTED that!!! In my situation, I made a mistake and was open to express that you my mate, when we were having the bust up, I let her know all this, there was another person involved who lied their way through, to be FRANK that absolutely PISSED me off, I cant stand liars!!! And to top it of my mate thought I was the one telling porky-pies, and sided with the other person. I remember getting opinions from some of my male and female friends and they more or less said the same thing; if you’ve told the truth, you have nothing to worry about, its the liars who will have to deal with the guilt in their conscience… – That just made so much sense, and it was so true!!!

So my message this MONDAY MORNING is to keep it 100!!! Liars are not respected, those who are open and not afraid to admit their flaws are. I chose this song for our Monday Morning Workout because it just highlighted being confident with what you got, we’re all bad-asses in our own right and that’s what makes us INDIVIDUAL and UNIQUE. Lying and pretending to be something you are not will just cause you STRESS, and to top it off, no one will ever get to witness your value if you pretend to be something you are not.

Continue Your Journey This Way…

He guys and girls…

Hope all is well with you…

I know it’s been a ridiculous amount of time since I last BLOGGED… And to be honest no excuse is good enough but I have to say that there are a few reasons for this, had some unexpected responsibilities crop up which took my attention and time DRAMATICALLY… But I’m glad to say that I’m back to my old business’s and down to keep it MOVING… (K.I.M.)

One of the major events to happen to me recently was finally getting a place of my OWN… I’m saying ‘finally’ like I been looking, but in actual fact, I wasn’t, God just DECIDED to bless me, shock at first, but now I’m extremely grateful. I got a new full time position at work… It was my mum’s 50th (even though she looks 30)… And my cousin dearest got MARRIED – it wasn’t my day but I swear it was the happiest day of my life!!! We had the date from he beginning of the month, but for some reason we didn’t start organizing from the end of June…. RUSH WEDDING… LOL!

So these last few months have been a bit hectic but they are all new beginnings for me. In this journey called life, we get placed in UNEXPECTED positions and we find our selves wondering how or why it happens and try some how to make sense of the situation. But these past few months have shown me that most times when you don’t expect something to happen, it becomes an opportunity for you to get something right and establish a NEW BEGINNING for yourself, in whatever area it may effect in your life. The flat was unexpected, but somehow God made provisions for me to me to do up the place, work full time, organize a wedding and still have fun and K.I.M…!

The best way to gain positive outcomes from whatever life throws at you is to stay positive through your trials. That way you’ll win every time! It allows you to face life with OPTIMISM, nothing can get you down because you’ve see the BENEFITS of the STRUGGLE rather than wasting ENERGY on the things you can’t change. The things you focus on are the things that MANIFEST in your life – LAW OF ATTRACTION. Through all my changes I just said to myself that it was all for good, I looked at each stage as an opportunity to develop and gain something better. I’m not saying that it was all smooth sailing, but after the whole transition, I realized that without the hard/bad parts, I couldn’t appreciate the good! Life is a journey, and journeys consist of FORWARD movement, if your life ain’t moving forward.. Houston, we have a problem…!

YOUR journey with positive strides…

P.S. HAPPY NIGERIAN INDEPENDENCE!!!! – New Beginning!

Monday Morning Workout…

Hey guys, hope all is well… I’m so sorry for the unplanned hiatus, but God willing, I’m definitely back!!!

Quick message and motivation to accompany my morning/afternoon workout, just wanna encourage everyone to stay true and FOCUSED on what they’ve decided to pursue. I believe in all things you do, you should do with LOVE. I feel that even though I’m in a position where I don’t wanna be CAREER-wise, its the right POSITION for me to be in at this time in order to make my DREAM today a reality TOMORROW.

Recently I’ve been working like a dog for personal reasons and also to pay bills, and sometimes you wonder whether or not it’s all worth it, and you know what… IT IS..! Through traveling, learning and finding myself, I’ve come to realise that everything I’m doing now is for my benefit, nowadays I don’t CO-SIGN on things which will not benefit me in the LONG run. I’m not being selfish in that RESPECT, because I know is someone asks you for help, you should try your best to help them out, what I mean is that if I do something, I want to do it so well that in the long run I reap the benefits, whether it be establishing GREAT and PROSPEROUS relationships, MONETARY benefits and in some cases even EMOTIONAL benefits. And how will I do that I hear you say… THROUGH LOVE…
The bible tells us that when we do things, we should do it ‘with love‘. This is not because us believers are stupid and gullible… LOL… It’s because when you do something out of pure KINDNESS, to the BEST of your ABILITY, with a OPEN-MIND and without regret or doubt, you put yourself in a position where you gain unquestionable FAVOUR and thus, provisions are made for you… IJN.

I know this is totally off the subject, but I really wanted to share this song… I thought I’d kick-start my return to the Workout Sessions with a song my cousin in GHANA brought me into. I didn’t know Sway was going on like that, but we thank GOD cos its a very big tune and extremely catchy. It has a bit of a funky beat, fused with some AFRO-BEAT flows, great morning/afternoon motivator…. ENJOY

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY..!!!!

Hey guys, hope you’re all doing good..

Today is officially the day of LOVE and spreading love…

Even though is today is a great day and I totally love the idea of showing love, it got me thinking on how funny it is that nowadays society wants to dictate things for us, like how we FEEL, how we TREAT each other and what we should be doing in general…??? We’ve been told when to CELEBRATE Black History (October, UK), when to celebrate our mothers (March), our fathers (June) and even to APPRECIATE and remember Baby Jesus (December) !!!

I think it’s great how we have a day DEDICATED to spreading love, and trust me, I am down for the cause, but I just want to remind everyone that our emotions and how we feel about each other should be expressed accordingling and when we want to express them and in the manner we chose to do this. I believe that if you TRUELY love someone or strongly care about a person, you will automatically express it when you feel to… Right…? There shouldn’t be an ASSIGNED day or way to do it, and quite frankly, if I need to purchase a card from CLINTONS, am I expressing my true passion for someone or am I just blending in with the norm. Throughout life I’ve realised that anything positive, important thing, something which holds any kind of special TIES with your heart and emotions deserves you in the same regard you CHERISH them. If I m passionate about SINGING, I dedicate my time and all my efforts into singing, if I’m passionate about my CAREER, I dedicate every waking day to perfect in it, if I am passionate about my PARTNER, I dedicate every moment we are together to show them how how I feel about them and if I’m passionate about my GOD, I dedicate every breathe I’m blessed with to personify His grace… SIMPLES…
